| INSTRUCTIONS
FOR USE |
| Crosslinking
can be carried out with all peroxides commonly
used for the press moulding of silicone rubber.
They are mixed into the rubber on a mill, if desired
together with Silopren®HV Color Batches
or Silopren®HV Additives. Recommended
is the usage of 0.6 parts by weight Dicumylperoxide(95%)
on 100 parts by weight of base compound. |
|
|
| CAUTIONS
: |
| Bis-2,
4-dichlorobenzoyl peroxide may generate polychlorinated
biphenyls (PCBs) during the curing process. ECC
Directive 67/548 and its amendments restrict the
content of PCBs to max 50 mg/kg. At higher contents
the products must be labeled as hazardous products. |
