HIGH QUALITY FEATURES
Sulfur consists of three forms called orthorhombic
crystalline sulfur, monoclinic sulfur and indeterminate
sulfur. Insoluble sulfur belongs to the indeterminate
m sulfur groups.
Ordinary sulfur is an orthorhombic crystalline
with a ring-form molecular structure. It is soluble
in non-ollar solvents such as hydrocarbons and
carbon disulfide. On the contrary, insoluble sulfur
has the ring structure cleaved to give a straight
chain with the result that it does not dissolve
in the above mentioned solvents.
